Agreement
By submitting a service request, paying a deposit, or allowing work to begin, you agree to the terms in effect when your appointment is confirmed. The person booking confirms that they are the vehicle owner or have the owner’s permission to authorize the service. If you do not agree, do not submit the request or allow service to begin.
Requests and confirmation
A website submission or text is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Outer Lane first confirms the vehicle, service location, scope, price, and available time. The appointment is held only after the required $25 reservation deposit is paid through the official payment link.
Deposit, cancellation, and weather policy
- $25 reservation deposit. The deposit holds the confirmed appointment and is credited toward the final service balance.
- 24-hour notice. One deposit transfer to a new appointment is allowed when a cancellation or reschedule is requested at least 24 hours before the confirmed start time.
- Late cancellation or no-show. A cancellation, reschedule request, or failure to provide vehicle access with less than 24 hours’ notice forfeits the deposit. A new deposit is required to book again.
- Outer Lane delay or cancellation. If we must cancel for a reason within our control, you may transfer the deposit to a new appointment or request its return.
- Weather and unsafe conditions. Rain, lightning, flooding, extreme heat, high wind, water restrictions, or unsafe working conditions may require a delay or reschedule. When Outer Lane makes that call, the deposit transfers without penalty. If no replacement appointment is agreed within 14 days, you may request the deposit back.
Houston weather and mobile route conditions can shift quickly. We will communicate material delays and will not rush work when conditions would compromise safety or the result.
Scope, price, and approval
Website prices cover the listed package scope and vehicle-size category. The final scope and price are confirmed after the vehicle, location, and condition are reviewed. Heavy pet hair, stains, odors, biohazards, excessive mud, overspray, delicate or aftermarket surfaces, or other unusual conditions may need an add-on, a separate quote, or a different appointment. Outer Lane will not perform or charge for additional work without customer approval.
Customer responsibilities and safe access
- Provide lawful, reasonably flat, safe access to the vehicle and disclose parking, gate, water, power, HOA, dealership, or property restrictions before the deposit is paid.
- Remove cash, valuables, weapons, medication, sensitive documents, loose electronics, and personal items from the service areas.
- Disclose known damage, loose trim, failing paint or clear coat, leaks, electrical issues, aftermarket parts, delicate materials, biohazards, or other conditions that could affect safe service.
- Provide keys and vehicle access at the confirmed time. If access is unavailable after a reasonable attempt to reach you, the appointment may be treated as a no-show.
Outer Lane may pause, reschedule, or decline any work that is unsafe, outside the confirmed scope, or reasonably likely to damage the vehicle or surrounding property.
Existing condition and service limits
Detailing improves appearance and cleanliness but cannot guarantee removal of every stain, odor, scratch, water spot, contaminant, or defect. Permanent staining, wear, fading, corrosion, cracked or loose materials, prior repairs, paint failure, and other existing damage may remain or become more visible after cleaning. Outer Lane is not responsible for pre-existing or undisclosed defects to the extent permitted by law; nothing in these terms waives responsibility that cannot legally be waived.
Completion, payment, and concerns
The remaining approved balance is due when service is complete. Please inspect the vehicle at completion when possible. Report a missed area, damage concern, or other service issue within 24 hours by calling or texting 832.366.3180 and include clear photos when available. Outer Lane must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, when appropriate, correct an issue within the confirmed service scope.
Personal property and child seats
Outer Lane does not inventory loose belongings. Remove or secure personal property before service. Child seats are not removed or reinstalled unless separately agreed; the customer remains responsible for checking and securing every child seat before the vehicle is driven.
Reviews
If you submit a review, you authorize Outer Lane to display the name, rating, and words you submitted subject to the notice shown on the review form. Reviews may be moderated for privacy, abuse, or authenticity but will not be rewritten to change their meaning.
Contact and changes
Questions may be sent by calling or texting 832.366.3180. We may update these terms as services or policies change. The terms in effect when an appointment is confirmed apply to that booking.
